How do I donate to MSAA?
There are several ways to donate to MSAA. You may donate online (click on "How to Give" at the top of your screen), by telephone via credit card, or by mail with a check. Choose the donation tab on our home page for details. All gifts are voluntary and tax-deductible.
How do I donate in memory of or in honor of someone?
Memorial or in honor of gifts can be made in the same way as general gifts. On the MSAA web site you'll find a convenient form that allows people to make tributary gifts safely and securely. To make a donation, please link to "How to Give" and click on "Donate on-line now"a safe, secure form will come up.

If I want to send a donation directly to MSAA in Cherry Hill, New Jersey what address do I use?
MSAA, 706 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
How much of my donation goes to those who have Multiple Sclerosis?
In general, about 62 percent of total revenue raised goes to MSAA programs and services to people with MS. The other 38 percent goes to administration and fundraising. These percentages have lowered markedly in recent years and continue to be reduced as MSAA adds sources of revenue and cuts costs of fundraising.
Is there a way 100 percent of my gift can go to programs and services?
Yes. When writing your check, submitting your credit card, or giving information by telephone, simply state that you want to restrict your gift to a specific MSAA program or service, e.g. equipment distribution or the Helpline. That way, you know that 100 percent of your gift, by policy, will go to that part of MSAA's mission.
I was called by someone who said they represented MSAA, how can I find out if this company is telling the truth?
MSAA works with various companies to represent us over the telephone. People from those companies should identify themselves distinctly. Some companies are Heritage, Creative Direct Response, Tele-Response, and SD&A. You may also call us to verify the companies that represent us at 1-800-532-7667 ext. 101.
I sent in my donation, and I received another notice asking me to send in my donation?
On rare occasions, new mailings requesting gifts go out before all of the gifts from a previous mailing are registered. Also, reminder notices are sent 21 days after a telephone pledge is made. At these times, gifts and new notices might cross in the mail. MSAA refers to this situation as shipcross and apologizes to all who experience it.
How do I remove my name from your calling list?
Write, call or email us with your complete name, address, and telephone number, and we will make sure your name is removed from our call lists. You may continue to donate (see next question) via direct mail, or you could be taken off of all lists. Remember, all gifts to MSAA are voluntary.
I want to give to MSAA but don't want to be called. What do I do?
Tell us you only want to be contacted by mail, and we will remove you from our calling list and place you on our direct mail list.
Why am I called more than once per year?
You can control how many times you are contacted within a year for a gift. Whether by telephone or by mail, all you have to do is let us know the month you would like to be contacted for your gift, and your file will be marked accordingly.
Why is the address on the return envelope different from the address of MSAA Headquarters?
All donations to MSAA go first to a counting house where money is counted and banked. In this way, no one directly involved with MSAA touches donations.
