Alone and in conjunction with the National Aeronautics and
Space Administration (NASA), MSAA has conducted extensive research
into the positive effects of specific, controlled cooling on symptoms
experienced by individuals with MS. This publication cites some of
the major studies on cooling, and explains how individuals with MS
may experience temporary improvement in symptoms such fatigue, visual
function, cognitive function, motor function, and spasticity, through
the science of cooling.

The MSAA Motivator
MSAAs 48-plus page quarterly magazine highlights and explains many vital issues of importance to our readers affected by MS. These include cover and feature stories about a variety of topics such as depression, assistive technology, the role of pets and service animals, parents with MS, and clinical trials, to name a few. Columns appearing in each issue include Ask the Doctor, Research News, Symptom Awareness, Health and Wellness, and others.
